As a direct result of building The 21 Convention, there are a number of people in my life I consider close friends, yet have only met a handful of times my entire life.
I spoke with one of those friends last night, and he mentioned something that has not crossed my mind in some time – how do attendees benefit from The 21 Convention?
I am so focused on designing and building events that I have never given the question serious thought.
I slept on the question last night. I thought, and I formed an answer. It is written below.
~~~
I found the PUA Community just after my 17th birthday. Not long after I found it – perhaps days – I experienced the most profound thought and emotion of my life.
In it’s entirety, it was nothing short of a lightning bolt going through my mind.
Do you know what it was?
I’ll tell you what it wasn’t – it wasn’t that I found this body of knowledge and gathering of men, that would teach me to meet and have sex with women.
Despite having very little else on my mind on a day to day basis, it was much greater than that.
That lightning bolt striking my mind was the first time in my life that I said to my own self – “I can improve my life (through this community)”.
More accurately, it was the first time I thought “I can improve my quality of life through learned knowledge and action.”
Meeting and bedding women was the subset expression of how this looked at the time. It was never the primary purpose of why I stuck with “the community”, or the primary benefit I hoped to gain from participating in it.
From the very beginning, it has always been to improve my quality of life – end of sentence.
How this was expressed, and in what ways this took shape, has changed as rapidly as I have received the benefits there of – as rapidly as my overall quality of life has improved since the age of 17.
The 21 Convention has evolved step for step, every year, in tune with my own growth, and the personal growth of it’s core speakers.
It has now become the only event in the world where men like Adam Lyons, Dj Fuji, and Dr. Doug McGuff can stand side by side at the same event – and it makes sense.
Makes sense because I have taken the time, through the channel of The 21 Convention, to connect these speakers with the same underlying, basic premise.
That life is good.
That your own life is important – valuable.
That you can improve the quality of your own life, in it’s entirety, through learned knowledge, and subsequent action, congruent to what you learned.
That you CAN work hard, use your head, and achieve what you set out to achieve.
That while there are no guarantees in life, your potential – NOT your possibility of chance — to succeed in your endeavors, is as limitless as your decisions make it.
That you ARE the fountainhead of your own happiness, and the personal success you enjoy.
You are the one responsible. You are self-responsible for the quality of your life.
It doesn’t matter what the current expression is – because personal success in all arenas stems from the same, underlying principle.
Truth.
Critics have claimed I merely slapped on a few health and fitness quacks to a “pickup” event. Their ignorance will be the source of their misery though.
The reason Doug McGuff MD, Adam Lyons, and Dj Fuji can stand side by side from the peak of my greatest achievement, is because what they teach is based in reality – in truth.
And they express that truth in their own area’s of expertise. This is why when the surface topics differ dramatically – it still all “makes sense”.
If you have ever watched the convention videos, and not understood why you enjoyed viewing such a diverse collection of footage – this is why.
As evidence to all of this, I present the natural and current consequence to what all of these men teach – fully consistent opposition to the popular wisdom of our day, and of their peers.
What Adam Lyons coaches runs completely opposite to what we learned about women growing up, from every outlet conceivable.
What Dj Fuji teaches – fundamental, basic principles — is the polar opposite of what has been the accepted dogma of the Pua Community since it’s inception – fancy tricks, techniques, and tactics that require a calculator to apply.
And what Doug McGuff MD spoke on this past year runs diametrically opposed to what 99% of his peers will tell you. Those of you who are medical students can and have attested to this.
Yet, these men are right. The results you guys have testified to me are evidence of such. From dropping 80 pounds of fat, to coming up to me at the event and telling me that you lost your virginity the night before.
I can do little but grin inside when I learn of these things , knowing full well that what these men teach is correct – is based in reality – and knowing full well that you had the courage to understand and apply the knowledge they offered.
Knowing full well that the men who are meant to succeed and achieve, are succeeding and achieving.
Being and doing.
Bringing what was once only an idea, into physical reality.
No greater test of courage, and of your convictions exists.
This is the greatest – the fountainhead – benefit to attending The 21 Convention. The improvement of your own quality of life, through learned knowledge and applied action — transmuting an idea into the physical world.
That idea – that goal – can be anything you are capable of deciding. It is not limited to any one specific area of life or interest.
The principles of success are universal. Truth runs deep through every subject of value in the world.
And I am determined to find the men who understand such truth, and bring them to a proper stage to share their ideas on.
This is not available anywhere else in the world. But it is available at The 21 Convention.
Since the very beginning I have connected these dots in my mind, and every event that passes, this becomes ever more present in the event, as I continue to expand it to a greater diversity of fields.
It is a practice I am fully committed to.
And if you have been able to derive benefit from my work, I am glad, and encourage you to attend The 21 Convention once again.
If you are an individual who has never witnessed the event live, and take seriously the improvement of your own quality of life, I cannot express in words what a wise decision it is to attend.
A decision that provides direct, face to face access to men who posses the knowledge and tools that can re-shape your life – as you see fit, not as those around you see fit.
A life, and quality there of, by your own design, decision, and will.
This is the value I offer in the form of a ticket to The 21 Convention. It is up to you to purchase, and take full advantage of it – of some thing that has become so rare in today’s age.
A REAL, gathering of men, committed to truth, and a positive direction in their own lives.
Make the best decision of your life and purchase a ticket to The 21 Convention.
There’s never been a better time than now (especially, but not only because the ticket cost increases tonight).
Hey Dream,
I was wondering why you dont invite Sinn to speak at the 21 convention anymore?
If I was able to get in contact with him, which I am not, I still would not invite him at this point. I have no doubt about his skill with women and ability to teach that to others — however, I’m not convinced his expertise outside of that narrow range exists.
It’s no longer enough to be a good dating coach to speak at this convention. Speakers have to be role model capable outside of just that.
Although I appreciate your opinion, I dont think the 21 convention has been the same without braddock and Sinn, maybe you should reconsider your invitations to them. Adam also heavily endorses Sinn and Braddock as well.
I like Braddock. Inviting him back is a good idea, although I hear he has moved largely out of the coaching scene. Sinn is not an option for a multitude of reasons as previously stated. This is not changing.
